I was quoted by reporter Alia Rau in The Arizona Republic this morning for an article about children being left in a hot car.

I told her that I thought new legislation criminalizing leaving children in a hot car was unnecessary since there were already laws in place that protect children from neglectful conduct and abuse.
I was also asked about whether a person could break a car window to save a child in a hot car. This issue came up last month when I was interviewed about dogs in hot cars.
