What is the penalty for a class 5 felony?
In Arizona, felony offenses are given classes from Class 2 to Class 6, with Class 2 felonies being the most severe, and Class 6 felonies being the least severe.
Class 5 felony offenses are designated as either Dangerous or Non-Dangerous.
A class 5 felony dangerous offense would involve the discharge, use, or threatening exhibition of a deadly weapon or dangerous instrument or the intentional or knowing infliction of serious physical injury on another person.
Dangerous Class 5 felonies are NOT probation eligible.
