A non-dangerous class 5 felony is punishable by up to 2.5 years in prison. A dangerous class 5 felony is punishable by up to 4 years in prison.
Class 4 Felony with No Priors:
A non-dangerous class 4 felony is punishable by up to 3.75 years in prison. A dangerous class 4 felony is punishable by up to 8 years in prison.
Class 3 Felony with No Priors:
A non-dangerous class 3 felony is punishable by up to 8.75 years in prison. A dangerous class 3 felony is punishable by up to 15 years in prison.
Class 2 Felony with No Priors:
A non-dangerous class 2 felony is punishable by up to 12.5 years in prison. A dangerous class 2 felony is punishable by up to 21 years in prison.
Second Degree Murder:
Second Degree Murder is punishable by up to 21 years in prison for a first offense.
First Degree Murder:
First Degree Murder is punishable by a sentence of death or life in prison.
